The Best of Raksha Bandhan campaigns!
The bond between a brother and sister has always been unique. From celebrity siblings celebrating it to two sisters or brothers or a brother and sister, Rakshabandan ads have taken a lovely turn and shown all kinds of siblings. Here are our favourites!
Myntra – House of Pataudi
The ad beautifully begins with a video call featuring Saif and Soha Ali Khan. Saif had gifted Soha a lovely ethnic wear which she was wearing and Soha had a box which reminisced nostalgia for Saif as she had preserved her first Rakhi gift (a ten rupee note). They both have a laugh over it and Soha asks Saif if he got his gift. Saif opens his box and there comes a lovely mask from the House of Pataudi. He wears it and Soha says, this will keep you safe and the ad ends.
The Man Company
Truth be told some of our traditions can, in the present-day context, do with a little tweaking, a little bit of truth & something new. The Man Compnay’s Rakshabandhan campaign features Ayushmaan Khurana along with his sister (in the ad) come together to celebrate this age-old tradition with a new perspective. We see him tying her the rakhi as she has always protected him.
Tanishq Jewellery also has always had a different perspective to rakshabandan ads. And this one is topical yet so relevant and warm. The ad features a sister talking to her brother on the phone. As her conversation goes, she gets ready to go work and is surprised by a gift kept by her brother. She opens her gift and wears her ‘Nurse’ id. She is truly our sister who has been protecting us this year. Indeed beautiful!
Cadbury’s Rakshabandan ads have always been our favourites. Their simplicity is what stuns us everytime. Here is one from this year.
